The light in me honors the light in you…namaste.

Welcome! The White Lotus represents the state of spiritual perfection and total mental purity (bodhi). It is associated with the White Tara, one of the few female representations of the Buddha.

The lotus itself is one of the most moving of Buddhist symbols. The roots of the lotus are in the mud while the stem grows up through the water, and the heavily scented flower lies pristinely above the water, basking in the sunlight. This pattern of growth signifies the progress of the soul from the primeval mud of materialism, through the waters of experience, and into the bright sunshine of enlightenment. Namaste…each time we meet another human being and honor their dignity, we help those around us. The beauty of the word Namaste is its implicit acknowledgment: “I see what is holy in you.” It creates the basis for a sacred relationship.
